My weekend

It was a toss up. I wanted to have a great weekend, but again the weather SUCKED! I am so freaking sick and tired of this cold, windy, raining weather! It makes me want to scream and yell and throw poop. I wanted to enjoy all weekend outside...my plans were ruined by rain. :( BIG Frowny

In happier news...Saturday morning was really nice. I signed up with a special needs foundation called Best Buddies. They were doing a 5K fundraiser to raise money for the foundation. They asked me to help out and so I did :) My little bro Cody and his cute gf Diana aka Dana came and helped out too. We got free shirts and lunch! It was so cool seeing all the generous people donating their time and money for this great foundation. It was up at This is the place Heritage Park. It was so pretty and the weather was nice. We saw 6 Goose mommies and their 20 babies taking a little stroll. It was so cute. I wanted to pick up the babies and snuggle them! They were so fuzzy. I know that Gabe was there with me smiling the whole time. I would have loved to have taken him on the 5K and pushed him in his wheelchair.  There was even a cool pirate ship!

It started getting stormy later that day. BUT Ryan had his soccer fundraiser dinner that night and we had yummy food and a improv team came. It was really fun.

Sunday was my sweet little silly sister Shelby aka Maria aka Sanchez aka Maria Sanchez 18th birthday! She is growing up and sometimes I am sad. But mostly I am happy because she is my best friend and I love her so much. She is the best sister in the world. And the prettiest! See?
Maria and Crockett. He sure loves her!

Me, my Momma, Maria, her friend Jackie, and my soon to be sister in law Dana are going to Vegas in 2 days for Maria's birthday. We are going to have a BLAST! We're staying at Hooters. We are classy broads. But hey! It's cheap and the pool looks way cool. We're planning on laying out, shopping, eating, and riding a few coasters. It will be so much fun I can't wait. I will post pictures when we get back. We'll all look like bronzed goddesses.

Why should I grow up?

I don't wanna grow up. EVER. Never ever ever ever. I love stuffed animals, cereal for every meal of the day, candy, cartoons, and trampolines. Oh! And slides. Let me ask you a VERY serious question. Have you even slid down a slide and been mad during or after wards? I didn't think so!

Ryan makes fun of me because 95% of the shows I watch are cartoons. The other 5 %  is usually reality TV or something on HGTV. What is wrong with cartoons? They are funny. There is usually a good message. And they are funny.

Let me hit you with a little knowledge. The best cartoon is Phineas & Ferb. You don't believe me? Here is proof.

Would I be wearing this awesome Phineas & Ferb shirt if it wasn't? Nope!

And here are some more favorites. Adventure Time, The Regular Show, Scooby-Doo, Kim Possible, Tom & Jerry, Loony Tunes, Codename: Kids Next Door, Courage The Cowardly Dog, Dexter's Laboratory, The Amazing World of Gumball, The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy... I could name more, but this would be a long post. Most of my shows are on Cartoon Network. A few on Disney.

If I could be a lost boy on Peter Pan then I'd never have to grow up. Don't grow up with me! Let's start a not growing up rebellion!!! WHO'S WITH ME???? HOORAY!

Utah weather BLOWS...and not in the good way

I seriously cannot for the life of me wrap my head around this God awful weather outside. It is May freaking 17th!!!! It's supposed to be beautiful outside! Birds chirping sun shining kind of weather. It is pouring outside and is freezing cold. This is so stupid. Did I pack an umbrella in my car? NOPE. Why would I? Its May!!!! But apparently Mother Nature wants to be a fat whore and make everyone in Utah miserable. My hair is messed up and I am pissed! The one day I decide to do my hair and straighten it...and it rains. Not cool. Not cool at all!

Here are some happy fun pictures of my puppies playing in the yard. They were taken like the only nice day this freakin month.
Molly was told to stay, but she didn't want to listen to me

My cute Crockett after he was playing in his pool. Molly is afraid of it.

This is the face I get when she knows she was being naughty
I wish my backyard looked as nice as my front. But the dogs pee destroys the lawn. I am thankful for Ryan though. When we first moved in our yard looked like butthole. There were weeds all over some as tall as me. Ryan worked so hard to get the lawn to grow in. I love that man! Plus he has big muscles and when he works outside he takes off his shirt and sweats a lot. Then I bring him a big glass of ice water and give him "sexy face''.

These next ones are the pups laying in bed watching The Tudors with us and one of them and their cute little cousin Mia. She is my sisters dog. And she is more brave than my two combined.

The soccer blanket is so we don't get the dogs lovely fur all over our brand new comforter

Dreaming about getting her belly scratched I bet

The 3 Musketeers Crockett, Mia, and Molly

A few days ago it was nice enough to take the dogs on a walk. We went kind of far (especially for Molly since she is only 4 months old). When we got back Crockett was all tuckered out. Molly was so tired she decided it would be ok for her too pee on the carpet and I wouldn't care. Here are my two puppies after our walk.
Does she look in trouble to you? She was hiding and I busted her!

My Crockett all pooped out

I love sharing pictures and stories of my dogs. They are my life :) Me and Ryan love them so much even when they are naughty little stink holes.

My yard Spring 2011

I have been wanting to take pictures of my front yard for awhile now, but the weather in Utah is ridiculous. It can be warm, snow, and rain all in the same day. The other day was pretty perfect so I took the opportunity to take some pictures.

These two are of my front porch...the sun kind of got in the way of my picture taking.

My flower beds with my pansies that never died from last year

Seriously! Canyou believe they didn't die?

My cute front porch after Ryan bought flowers and we potted them

This is where I relax with my coffee and read

The pretty pathway to our backyard

Gabe's cool stone he made at school and Ryans little Gnome

My cute Spring bunny next to my front door. I was going to take him down after Easter, but I can't! He is too cute!
Since I took these pictures I've planted more flowers and some of the others have bloomed and look so pretty. My lilac bush is going crazy. I seriously love the smell of lilacs. I want to plant another one in my back yard.

So after I got done taking pictures of my front yard, I decided to take some of our pretty cool view. There isn't a house in front of our house. Just a park :)

I love going out and sitting on my front porch and being able to see the mountains. So pretty. Here is what I was greeted with when I went inside the house.

Cute little Molly

My adorable puppies Molly and Crockett

I love my puppies so much. I am so grateful Ryan bought them for me. They are the most loving, gentle, fun, wonderful dogs ever! They are my babies!

I like to decorate my house. Sometimes I go overboard and buy buy buy. Especially during Christmas. Well, to avoid having to buy a decoration for every single holiday or season...I decided to make something. I went to Michaels and bought the heart shaped twig wreath. Then I picked out a cute ribbon to hang it on my door and also a cute bow that would work for St. Patrick's Day and Easter. I fastened the bow on the wreath with some wire and hung it by the ribbon. Wa-la! Now when I need to change it, I can just get some new ribbon and make a bow to hang on it. It's simple and cute and cheap. I think Ryan liked the cheap part.

I finally remembered to upload the pictures from my camera so I could do a post about what I've been up to. I am like the most forgetful person ever. EVER. I have to tell you about my Mothers Day. That day is really hard for me obviously. And my family always steps in and tries to make a sad day happy. Ryan gave me a beautiful card, some money to finish my Gabe sleeve, and s cute silly Snoopy card from Gabe. That morning I was laying in bed drinking my coffee and we hear a loud and fast knock at the door. Ryan goes to the door and says "Heather put on some pants and come to the door!" hahaha. So I did what I was told. Sitting at the door was a cute little vase with flowers, a card, and a dump truck. I instantly got a smile on my face and got teary eyed because I knew right away it was from Gabe. I opened the card and it had a cute little bee on it. Gabe even signed it :) His backwards E and smily face gave it away. I knew it was either my sister, brothers, or Mom. They knew exactly how Gabe signed his name.
I called my brother Cody and he was chill as a cucumber and said he was at his girlfriends. I totally believed him. So then I called my sister Shelby. And she didn't answer. I was like "hmmmmm...interesting. Very interesting." I called my Dad and asked him where Shelby was. He said she wasn't home and she had left her phone there. Well that was a dead giveaway. Shelby is 17. She never leaves her precious phone at home. I knew it was her!!!! BUSTED! When she called me back I asked her and she was lying through her teeth haha. I told her to put it on Gabe and of course she couldn't. BUT guess who else doorbell ditched me? Cody! He and Shelby were an cahoots! They were on the side of my house giggling the whole time. It was such a cute and thoughtful gift. They said Gabe told them to do it and play a trick on me. And that does sound like something my silly little baby would do.
The night before me and my sister got to work on my Mom and Grammies Mothers Day gift. We were going to be VERY creative and awesome. We went to Wally World and got our supplies. We are great story tellers and love candy...so this was the result.
I will tell you what it says since it's kinda hard to read. "Once upon a time there were two LEMONHEADS. And they came across a SOURPATCH and contracted a WHATCHAMACALLIT. Some LIFESAVERS HEATH-er and Shelby told them they had to take giant WHOPPERS (poops) in order to survive. Grammie and Mommy let out lots of SNICKERS and that's when they told us they had to take us to New YORK. When we got there they told us we were on a time CRUNCH and we need to locate the THINGAMAJIG. On the way a paparazzi stopped them on 5TH AVENUE to take pics of Moms MOUNDS. We ran away because he was just looking to SKOR. The end. hahaha if you say you have heard better stories then you are a LIAR and you better take off your pants because they are on fire!!!

Kickboxing aftermath

As you know...I took a kickboxing class last night. I thought I knew what I was getting into because I had done them at Gold's Gym a few times. I was soooo off it wasn't even funny. First of all we got to punch and kick these things:
We partnered up and used these bad boys and it was seriously AWESOME!!! Gold's doesn't have these. We had to hit air. Landing your fist into something feels so much better and rewarding. I pictured it was my ex and his Mom's face that I was punching and kicking. I was hitting it so hard I split open my knuckle. I need gloves next time for sure. I thought that lifting weights was a good stress reliever. Boy was I wrong. This is 3434034646 times more fun and great for stress and my anger issues!

I haven't been that out of breath and red faced from a workout in so long. I don't even remember the last time I felt like that. I wanted to give up so many times, but I just kept going. I wanted to prove to myself I could make it through the hour class. It was really worth it. I felt so good after wards. Like I could accomplish anything. I am going to go every single week now. The instructor was way nice too. She looked AMAZING and has had 5 kids. If she can look that good then so can I!

She had us do jabs, uppercuts, back hands, kicking to the front, side, and back. We jumped rope, did jumping jacks, ran laps, did abs. It was a killer workout. I just know it's going to get me in great shape. I can't wait for next week. I need to get myself some gloves so I don't jack up my hands.

I have done two aerobics classes this week. One was called Fitness 360 and it was like a full body workout with weights and cardio. Then last night was the kickboxing class. I may do a Zumba class or Bootcamp class on Saturday if I can wake my lazy ass up. But just in the last 2 days I have lost 3 pounds.

Here's to getting healthy!!!!!
