Score at Forever 21!

My totally radical friend Natalie bought me a gift card at Forever 21 for my berfday. I bought 2 rings, 3 necklaces, 2 pairs of earrings, and a belt for $25.95! Are you freaking serious? I love this store with all my cheap little heart. They have the cutest merchandise and it's all so inexpensive. Here are some of the things I bought..behold:

Belt for $6.80. I got the brown and tan one, but this is the only picture I could find.

Here are my necklaces minus one and earrings. All for $1.50 a pop

The earrings I got in silver and a pair in gold.
And here is one of the rings I got...the other one I couldn't find on the site.

I got this pretty lil thang for $2.80

I can't wait to wear all these pretty and fun pieces. And I can't wait to go back there again :)

Beckham is HOT

Ryan and I got some awesome tickets with a friend for the Real game Saturday night. It just so happens my favorite #23 mid-fielder David Beckham was playing. We had amazing seats. It was friggin cold and raining. Luckily Ryan let me use his stadium soccer coat, which is the equivalent of a sleeping bag you wear. I was nice and toasty while everyone else froze their arses off. Real won :) Woohoo! And to make things even better, David (we are on a 1st name basis) stood practically in front of me ( I think on purpose...to let me know he loves me) and here is the proof! It was pissing me and Ryan off how people were booing him. A) he is hot so quit hating. B) he is a wayyy good player. Because I knew he was wondering where I was and hoping I'd call out to let him know my whereabouts...I screamed out "David Beckham, I want to have your babies!!!" Ryan laughed and I also got glares from all the Mo-mo's. Oh well, I had to profess my love. The end.

Last nights dinner

I have recently become addicted to blogs. I love blogs about recipes, fashion, decorating, DIY projects, ect. I decided mine would be a compilation of all of that plus a few things thrown in. I hope everyone is enjoying reading this as much as I enjoy writing it.
So, last night I made my Mom and Dads goulash. It's so simple and sooo good. And good for you :) Which is a humungo plus. Here's the recipe...behold:

1 lb of ground beef or turkey cooked
1 can of corn drained
1 can of cut green beans NOT drained
1 can cream of mushroom soup
4-6 potatoes peeled and cut in bite size pieces
milk
seasonings I like: Johnny's, chili powder, s&p, onion powder or garlic powder.

-Okay first thing to do is the potatoes. While you are peeling and cutting...heat a pot full of water to boil and cook the potatoes. Throw them all in there after cut and peeled and let them cook until tender.
-Cook the ground beef or turkey
-After the potatoes are done, drain them and set aside.
-In the pan add the corn, green beans, and cream of mushroom soup. With the empty soup can, fill it 1/3 of the way with milk and pour in pot. Mix all together.
-Add seasonings and mix.
-Add ground beef and mix.
-Add potatoes and mix.
-Let simmer for a few minutes to let all the flavors mix.
I usually add shredded cheese to the bowls after they've been served. Oh! And also get yourself some reduced fat Pillsbury crescent rolls to dip in it.

Ryan and I LOVE this recipe. Plus it's really simple. It takes about 20 minutes to make is all. I forgot to take a picture last night. Oh well. Trust me. It's yummers.

Let me know what you think :)

New & Old Faves

It's not a secret I LOVE to shop and also save money. If I can find something I adore and can also buy it at a discount then I have scored the ultimate score! And then I reward myself with a pat on the back and probably a Cafe Vanilla Mocha Frapp from Starbucks. I decided to share some of my favorite things right now...And some were cheapies and some not so much. Buy hey, if it's worth the money...then I can justify it.
There are two lippies that I loooove right now. This one I got from Sephora. It's $22.50. Yeah pretty spendy..but I can't live without it. As soon as it runs out I am buying more. It looks like it would go on red, but it kinda just is a very light pinkish color. Sort of just emphasizes the natural color of my lips.
This lip gloss I got from my Jessie's nice Mom Jill. She warned me I would be obsessed and I most definitely am. It's the Apple Cider lip shine from Bath & Body Works. I think it's $7
I have two new favorite bands. Mumford and Sons is AMAZING. I can't even explain it! You will just have to listen for yourself. Their music makes me so happy. Instantly puts a smile on my face. Gabriel would've loved them. My favorite song by them is "White Blank Page".
Also, check out Cage The Elephant. Awesome work out music. Or if you are a fan of dancing in front of the mirror...like me...this is for you :) Check out "Shake Me Down"

I bought some really cool boots from Alloy.com. They always have way cute shoes and clothes. Usually at a pretty good price especially when they are on sale. These beauts were originally $46.90 and I got em for $29.90

Do you love Sally's Beauty Supply like I do? The only eyeliner I have used that actually stays on my lower rim is the Palladio brand from Sally's. I love it sooo much. I have black and charcoal. Did I mention it's $2.99?!!!
The eyeliner I use for my lids is from L'Oreal felt tip liquid eyeliner. You can get it at any drug store and at Ulta too. It's around $7.

Okay peeps....that is all for today. Have fun shopping :)

Spring needs to get here QUICK!

I remember growing up and having the prettiest yard. My parents worked so hard on making it beautiful. Tons of flowers and plants. Now that I have my own home I love making it beautiful. I take pride in it. Since this is my first home of my very own...it's a learning process. Last year I think my yard looked pretty dang sexy, but this year I want it to be even better. Here are some flowers I really like:
I call these little beauts flame flowers. Obviously because they look like flames duhhhh

And these lil guys are just awesome and bright and cheerful
I also love these because they remind me of the fun little singing flowers in Alice in Wonderland. Like they are all crowded around having a lovely ole' time
Sooooo yeah. I am anxiously awaiting when I can beautify my yard again. My Dad always bought my Mom a gazillion flowers for the yard for Mothers Day and then they would spend that week planting them and making our house fantabulous. My Mom told me the best time to plant is right after Mother's Day. And you know how the saying goes..."Mother's always right".
I would absolutely LOVE to have a garden in my back yard and make it as pretty as my front. But, that is pretty much impossible when I have these two pooping and digging everywhere.
HAPPY PLANTING!
